Products and services for B2B customers

Since 2008, we've worked with over 500 clients across the country and across industries. Clients who purchase from UtilDeco are companies with more than 50 employees and public authorities in Romania, who can purchase, on a partnership basis, products and services made by people with disabilities employed in UtilDeco's authorised sheltered unit, benefiting from the settlement of costs up to 50% of the minimum gross basic salary for unemployed disabled people.

As an authorised sheltered unit, the collaboration with UtilDeco allows companies and organisations with more than 50 employees to purchase these products and services at no cost - by deducting them from the payments due for unemployed people with disabilities under Law 448/2006.

On top of that, the additional authorisation as a social enterprise of insertion means that a minimum of 90% of the profit must be reinvested in the social mission. At UtilDeco, we reinvest 100% of our profits in three social projects: Youth Club - Day Centre for young people with disabilities and from vulnerable categories, JobDirect - Recruitment and placement services for people with disabilities on the labour market and UtilDeco - Job creation for people with disabilities.

Social beneficiaries

Our social beneficiaries are people with disabilities, young people leaving the child protection system and young people from vulnerable groups. 

At 2020 level, this is the scale of our social impact:

• 25 jobs protected (18 disabled and 7 from other vulnerable groups);


• 30 people with disabilities benefited from career counselling and guidance services, of which 5 were employed;


• 80 children are currently benefiting from the services and activities of the Day Centre for young people with disabilities and from vulnerable backgrounds;

JobDirect - social enterprise and the first Job Placement and Workplace Assistance Agency in Romania, specialized in employing people with disabilities on the labour market. It offers assessment, testing, counselling, vocational training, mediation and job placement services and job-coaching for job retention.

JobDirect was founded by ADV Romania Foundation in 2016, based on the belief that the employee with disabilities is a valuable employee, with a potential insufficiently exploited on the labor market.

JobDirect operates at the level of Iasi County, offering people with disabilities and companies a package of direct employment services, but also at the national level, through the online platform www.jobdirect.ro.

WISE.travel aims to transform the way we travel. Under the USP/slogan "Do good traveling!", WISE.travel puts in a single online platform everything you need to travel at the best price and at the same time support those around you.

We created WISE.travel to connect travellers, companies and social businesses in a more effective way with the travel industry. Our vision involves a different way of travelling - a responsible way - that gives tourists the opportunity to take part in different activities provided by NGOs worldwide.

WISE.travel - more than a simple travel agency

The traveller chooses an NGO to which WISE donates half of the gross profit. A company can use WISE as a business travel partner and in this way support their favourite NGO. The gesture is endorsed by the social impact certificate we grant in line with the Global Goals and the CSR reporting directive 95. 

The WISE platform includes 180,000 hotels, 22,000 cars, 18,000 activities and special offers. There are 30 NGO partners and another 1,800 listed as geographical suggestions for travellers. Since inception, €28,000 has been donated/invested in social programmes. 

In addition, when a tourist chooses to travel to Athens for example, they are automatically suggested activities and social businesses in the area, giving them the opportunity to purchase souvenirs from a workshop where people with disabilities work or to have a meal in a social restaurant. We do not charge a promotion fee.

We have created a universe of scented candles, which will make you forget about everyday problems and the best part is that you can take part of this universe with you at home. We want to create a community around scented candles, which in turn, create a state of well-being when you smell them. At the same time, we want to grow in order to be able to hire as many people from disadvantaged backgrounds as possible.

Dealul Morii is a social enterprise authorized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection that aims to offer a complex public catering service (kitchen, event space and extracurricular activities) based on socially responsible relationships with local workers and producers and that promotes historical traditions and cultural aspects of the community. The entire profit of the social enterprise goes to the support with cooked food of the vulnerable people in the community (elderly, families with many children and without material possibilities) and to the development of free cooking and personal development courses for vulnerable children in our area.
