Art Koda / Koda Community Education

Established in 2010 by the Koda Community Education Center, Art Koda is a social enterprise with the mission to foster the seamless integration of internally displaced persons (IDPs) from South Ossetia, who reside in the village of Koda within Tetritskaro Municipality, into the local community. This is achieved by actively promoting education and employment opportunities for community members, thereby facilitating the vibrant activation of local community life.



The center has introduced 16 types of vocational courses focused on the local labor market and the needs of the local community, such as:

  • Cloisonné enamel (hard enamel);
  • Painter; Upholstered furniture manufacturing-restoration;
  • Car management and distribution;
  • Cell phone repair;
  • Computer repair; Computer services;
  • Shoe repair; Cutting and sewing; Knitting;
  • Confectionery;
  • Office Manager;
  • Stylist; Tapestry; Souvenir making and more.

There are 12 types of personal development courses / trainings for the beneficiaries of the center, including:

  • Computer office software; Computer Accounting Course;
  • English language;
  • Small Business Basics; Writing projects;
  • Photography; Drawing; Performing arts and more.



  • 24,000+ beneficiaries participated in various courses and events organized by the Center;
